Certificate of Title and Title Previews

Relab gives you quick access to property ownership details, easements, covenants, and mortgages directly from the Property Details panel.

Ordering a Certificate of Title requires payment. Pro members pay $12 incl. GST; free users pay $19 incl. GST.

Preview Title Information

In the Property Details panel, scroll to Title & Ownership.
Click the teal Title Preview link.
Review the key information from the Certificate of Title, including current owners, mortgages, easements, and covenants.

View the Legal Description

In the Property Details panel, scroll to Title & Ownership to see the legal description in the summary.
Click the teal view title record(s) link to expand the full title record, which shows the estate type, estate share, and land area alongside the legal description.

Access the Title Transaction Report

In the Property Details panel, scroll to Title & Ownership.
Click the teal Title Transaction Report link.
Review the full title history, including all current and historical memorials, estates, registered owners, and prior titles.

Order Title Documents

Open the Property Details panel and click the teal Order Title button at the top.
Select the documents you need:
- Certificate of Title with Diagram
- Mortgage Details
- Fencing Agreements
- Other available documents
Click Continue with Payment.
Enter your billing information and confirm your order.

Your documents will be delivered via email and will also be available in your document centre.

You can select and order all the documents you need in one go - just tick the boxes for each document before proceeding to payment.

How long does it take for titles to arrive once ordered?
Once you place your order, your documents will be sent via email and made available in your document centre shortly after.

How often is title preview updated?
Title preview information is usually updated once per week, in sync with the NZ Property Titles data on LINZ Data Service.
